Every year SAP SuccessFactors releases new updates, enhancements, and features. Being up to date is important for system and business progression, especially when using tools like the opportunity marketplace.
For 2024, the releases dates are out and it’s essential for every organisation using SAP SuccessFactors to take action on time to not lose that chance.
The releases happen twice per year, once between April and May and then between October and November. Organisations have the chance to test out the new updates for a month, during the preview window before fully implementing it into their system.

SAP SuccessFactors H1 2024 release promises a more engaging learning experience.
Learners will be able to access optional assignments and choose how to handle them. They'll be notified about assignments without due dates, promoting a flexible, self-paced learning environment.
The "Suggested for me" section will include admin and peer recommendations to boost learner engagement with relevant courses.
The new banner feature lets organisations customise their learning portal with branding and messaging, guiding learners. Admins can create up to 100 custom cards for a personalised environment, each supporting one video. Learners can access up to 8 cards.
The updated learning history interface simplifies reviewing past training records, aiding in tracking progress and identifying development opportunities.
The Integrated Learning Experience (ILX) is now enhanced, allowing admins to hide the old experience. Employees will access learning through a single interface.
Admins can merge learning records from multiple users into one using the Import Tool, saving time. Each file can have up to 200 records, with a monthly limit of 5000 merges. This streamlines admin tasks and reduces errors with data validation.
With 2024 SAP releases, there are other notable upgrades, such as SCORM 1.2, Learning Cross-Domain Proxlet, deprecation of unload browser events for important data handling, and the automation of the Instance Refresh tool. To know more, check these insights.
