It all started during one of the annual hackathons organised by SAP. They asked each partner to build an app that would make a meaningful impact on the community. It was at that moment that our team decided to focus on the current hot topic: sustainability. It resonates with us and reflects our commitment to creating positive change in the world. We understood the need to address sustainability in the current global landscape and recognised the gap for innovative solutions. Our dedication to the cause and our creativity made the development of the Green Team app possible.
The application’s development certainly came with challenges, but thanks to our problem-solving skills, we managed to successfully launch a sustainable and impactful app for eco-conscious users. The Green Team app is seamlessly integrated into the SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone, and that’s what makes our app unique. No more hassle of looking for a third-party provider.
At the core of the Green Team application lies a transformative capability—an option for users to not only create their own initiatives but to join existing ones. With a Netflix-like interface, employees can choose from diverse categories like education, health, environment, and gender equality to cultivate initiatives that resonate with their passions. The more initiatives organisations take part in, the more help is offered to the community, and the more recognition they can obtain and record thanks to badges, e.g., The Green Agenda Champion or The Sustainability Hero. With the Green Team app, organisations can be part of an impactful community.
We actively participate in numerous CSR initiatives at TalenTeam, and we believe it would be interesting to share our efforts with other organisations.
