As part of our ongoing commitment to cyber security, we are very pleased to announce that we have achieved Cyber Essentials certification. Keeping data secure has always been extremely important to us - we are committed to strengthening our defences against common threats of cybercrime to an accredited government standard and beyond.

The Cyber Essentials scheme, backed by the UK government, defines a baseline standard of security for businesses and aims to help organisations protect themselves against common cyber threats. It outlines the controls that organisations should implement to help mitigate risks. Cyber Essentials concentrates on these key areas:

• Securing an internet connection by using a firewall
• Choosing the most secure settings for devices and software
• Controlling who has access to data and services
• Protecting devices from viruses and other malware
• Keeping devices and software up to date

Even though the scheme is not mandatory for every business, here at TalenTeam we understand that our customers, particularly in the UK Public Sector, place further emphasis on security and compliance with the Cyber Essentials scheme. We are dedicated to security as we are entrusted with personal and sensitive data and hence are extremely proud to be able to prove our protective capabilities to you.

Cyber Essentials certification marks another step on TalenTeam’s journey of continuous security improvement. It is an added level of external assurance that the right things are done in order to protect our systems and services. We continue this journey as we work on obtaining Cyber Essentials Plus in the near future.
